Balenciaga
Balenciaga was founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1919. His first shop opened in San Sebastián, Spain and eventually expanded to Madrid and Barcelona. His styles were so well-liked that even the Spanish royal family and aristocracy wore his designs. Unfortunately, due to the Spanish Civil War, he had to move his shop to Paris. It opened once again in 1937. He grew in popularity in Paris and had customers risking their lives during World War II to see his works. In 1968, Cristóbal Balenciaga closed his store’s doors and later passed away in 1972. It wasn’t until 1986 when Jacques Bogart S.A. gained the rights Balenciaga that the brand made its return. It is now owned by Kering, who also owns other well-known brands such as Gucci and Saint Laurent. At Queen Bee of Beverly Hills, the vintage but fresh styles are available to fit your own look.
